"Lightweight contender Orlando Zulueta of Cuba was convinced today that the lessons he learned from two previous defeats by Percy Bassett enabled him finally to gain revenge on the former world's interim featherweight champion. Zulueta caught up with the Philly fighter Monday night in a widely televised bout at the Eastern Parkway Arena and registered a unanimous 10 round decision. It was a fairly close fight for eight rounds, but then Bassett tired badly and the Cuban took the remaining rounds by a wide margin." -United Press
