Pete Sanstol 118 lbs beat Phil Tobias 113 lbs by PTS in round 10 of 10

"Pete Sanstol, the little flyweight and bantamweight champion of Norway, fighting his first ten-round bout, kept up his undefeated up-to-date record by being awarded the decision over Phil Tobias of Coney Island at the Broadway Arena last night in the main bout before a crowd of about 3,500 people." New York The World.

Earlier, on July 4, p. 11, The World reported that the NYSAC had permitted Sanstol to compete in ten-rounders: "Although Sanstol is not yet twenty-one years of age, he is nearing that mark and for that reason was granted the same privileges as a matured boxer." The fact is, however, that Sanstol was actually almost twenty-four-years-old.
