Summary
Quillin started off patiently, fighting in brief bursts and going to Hill’s body. Quillin would stick with the hooks downstairs for the duration. A series of left hooks in the fifth led to Hill on the mat, but he would rise for more. Quillin attempted to put Hill away, but he eventually settled into a strategy of body shots and short leads and counters to the head. In the final round, Quillin staggered Hill with a good right hand and closed in as Hill covered up in a corner. He then attacked with head and body shots with Hill not throwing any punches until the referee stopped the bout.
