Pone Kingpetch 112 lbs beat Mitsunori Seki 112 lbs by SD in round 15 of 15

"Despite a weird split decision victory, Pone Kingpetch, Thailand's world flyweight champion, appeared eager Wednesday to again defend his title in Japan. Kingpetch pummelled game but inexperienced Mitsunori Seki in 15 furious rounds Tuesday night to keep the 112 pound title. Seki started out as if the champion was just another main event fighter and the 10,000 fans howled when their southpaw challenger rocked the champion. But Kingpetch had the knowhow, especially when it came to fighting in close. There were no knockdowns but Pone bruised Seki's right eye in the 7th and had him bleeding from the nose in the 8th, 12th and 14th. It was obvious Pone was the stronger of the two in the late rounds." -Associated Press
