Don Johnson 125 lbs drew with Rafiu King 127 lbs by SD in round 10 of 10

"California featherweight champion Don Johnson belted his way to a surprisingly impressive draw with the world's 2nd ranked featherweight Rafiu King of Nigeria at the Olympic Auditorium Friday. Johnson, ranked 7th in the world, countered his opponent's lightning speed with a tenacious offense throughout the entire night. King, backed by his illustrious stable-mate, middleweight champion Dick Tiger, a second in Rafiu's corner, was the master fencer dashing in and out and countering Johnson's jabs with punishing blows to the body. Every time King looked up from his body attack, however, he was staring into the business end of Johnson's left hand. The Californian pushed his opponent around the ring all night with his jab-hook combination while King was satisfied with countering." -Long Beach Press-Telegram
