"Raul Rojas, the world's 6th ranked featherweight, punched out a 10 round decision over Jesus (Chucho) Garcia at the Olympic Auditorium. Rojas, San Pedro, Calif., had trouble in the early rounds finding the range on his taller opponent, but staggered Garcia in the 8th round and again in the 10th. The 5' 11" Reynosa, Mexico, fighter hung on gamely and was never knocked down but Rojas was in control all the way." -United Press International
