McLellen kept his hands up as he moved forward with the straighter and more accurate punches. Boizard used movement and stayed busy with looping punches. Boizard was dropped in round 1 by a straight left to the body. In round 3, Boizard was hurt again by a straight left to the body, took a clean punch to the head, which prompted the referee to step in.
