- Date: 1933-12-05
- Location: Olympic Auditorium, Los Angeles, California, USA
- Referee: George Blake
"Baby Casanova, 118, Mexico City, scored a narrow victory over Speedy Dado, 117 3/4, the Filipino Flash in 10 furious rounds of fighting here tonight. Casanova's superior stamina in the closing rounds was sufficient for him to win referee George Blake's nod. The Mexican was given 5 rounds, Dado 4 and the last round was even. Dado's boxing skill gave him a commanding lead in the first six rounds but thereafter, Casanova's youth and strength became evident. The two fought toe-to-toe almost from the start, and the action was so fast ringsiders had difficulty keeping track of the blows." -United Press
