- Weaver was knocked down in round two by a left hook to the jaw. As Weaver rose from the knockdown, one of his seconds stepped up on the ring apron. Weaver walked towards his cornerman, who put one of his arms around Weaver. Referee Robert Ferrara then waved the fight off, leaving Zertuche the winner by disqualification.
