- Replaced the Fresno Civic Auditorium as the locale for boxing events in 1929. Ryan's Auditorium was named after original promoter Jim Ryan.
- Located on the corner of Fresno and G Streets, across the street from Ferrara's bar/beer garden.
- After Jim Ryan's death, this facility was bought by the Henry Dermer family.
- Young Corbett III fought here dozens of times.
- Was the boxing venue for Fresno throughout the 1930s and 1940s, usually putting its boxing shows on Tuesdays. It also held regular Friday night wrestling shows, as well as amateur boxing shows, when the professional boxing show was not held on its usual night.
- Al Dermer was both the wrestling and boxing (amateur and professional) promoter at this venue during the 1940s and 1950s.
