Sam McClintic was the one-time manager of early 1900s boxer Fighting Dick Hyland. [1].

In October 1913 he had a stable of Salt Lake City boxers. [2]

By 1916 he was promoting shows in Oklahoma.

McClintic, 47, died of a heart attack at his howe at 583 Shotwell Street, San Francisco, April 4, 1917, and was survived by his mother. [3]
