"The decision was a fair one, for Sanstol carried off four of the six rounds. By the award Sanstol registered his fourth triumph over Farber.
"In only the first and fifth rounds did Farber show to advantage. In the first round, the east sider out-boxed Sanstol and in the fifth round, Farber shook the Norwegian with a right to the jaw and stung Sanstol with a succession of rights to the head.
"In the other four rounds, however, Sanstol sustained the offensive and heavy punishing to the body and head and face gave the Norwegian a convincing margin on points."
