Fight night at the old San Diego Coliseum

The San Diego Coliseum was a sports venue located on 14th and E Street in downtown San Diego--the primary boxing venue in San Diego from 1925 until 1979--putting on some 1,500 shows over its lifetime. The arena eventually was taken over by one of its neighbors--Jerome's furniture store.
