Notes

  • Demers controlled the fight with his jab and occasional right hands to the jaw of Contreras. The latter kept his hands low and continuously challenged Demers to come forward, but he could not mount any sustained attack.
  • After the fight, obviously happy to hear the final bell, Contreras flexed his muscles for the crowd.
