Senad is the son of boxing trainer, former professional boxer Casey Puskar

Senad Puskar represented Wells Park Boxing club when he claimed his victory over Jose Flores (Chicago Illinois) of Echart Park for the Chicago Park District 112 lb. flyweight city title in 1985.

Puskar represented Wells Park Boxing club when he claimed his victory over Shawn Weems of Columbus Park for the Chicago Park District 139 lb. city title in 1988.

Puskar was a sectional CYO (Jr. division) champion in 1985, losing in the finals to Napoleon Thomas from the Windy City Gym.
