  • The original result of the fight was a technical draw. In round 3, the fighters collided head-to-head, producing mutual cuts - one over the forehead of Kuzmin, and another one over Mansour's right eyebrow. After examining both cuts, ringside physician Vladimir Kurdhev immediately called a halt to the bout.
  • Post fight sample of Amir Mansour showed buprenorphine, so WBC officially asked local commission - AIBA
    Russian Boxing Federation - to change the result to a No Contest tn 5 March 2018.
