- Randolph was staggered by a right hand to the jaw ten seconds into the bout. Randolph never really recovered from that blow, as he was knocked down twice in the 1st round. Palma battered Randolph around the ring in the 2nd round, as Randolph attempted to hold. Randolph fought back in the 3rd with sharp jabs and hooks, and appeared to take command of the fight in the 4th round, as he beat Palma to the punch. Palma, however, regained control of the bout in the 5th round, and ended the bout with two hard shots that floored Randolph.
