'KO Kid' Joey Spina retained his IBF Intercontinental super-middleweight title at the Cape Cod Melody Tent
in Hyannis, Massachusetts on Friday (July 7) night with a fourth round stoppage win over Falmouths Jay Pina 
Pina Battled throughout but a well time left hand to the side of the head shook shook up the challenger,
leaving the referee to intervene after 2.34 of the fourth session. 
On the undercard Agnaldo Nunez outscored Armando Cordoba over eight rounds at featherweight. Both men were
clubbed to the canvas on two occasions each but Brazilian Nunez got the verdict. 
In a junior-middleweight clash the well travelled African Ossie Duran improved to 22-5-1-(9) with a six
round decision win over Gilberto Reyes.
