World flyweight champion Fidel LaBarba boxed two exhibitions in the main event, against Ray Fee and Ted Frenchie.

This was the last main event held at Dreamland Arena, as the program the following week was postponed on the scheduled Wednesday the following week, and cancelled all together on Thursday. No other boxing programs were held on later dates on this venue, as San Diego's time as a two shows per week town ended.
