Wonder Boy Lopez wins the FECARBOX title [3]

Unbeaten prospect Jose “Wonder Boy” Lopez won the WBC FECARBOX 
featherweight title by defeating veteran Leivi Brea by technical 
knockout at 2:33 of the first round on Saturday night at the Cosme 
Beitia Coliseum in Catano, Puerto Rico.
”I’m very happy with this victory. I trained very hard. So excited 
to become The FECARBOX champion,” said Lopez. 
The Cotto Promotions rising star will be back on Saturday, June 7 
at Madison Square Garden as part of the mega Cotto vs. Martinez 
event.
In the co-main event, jr flyweight Charlie Clemente improved his 
undefeated record to 6-0, 3 KOs, by beating Omar Soto by unanimous 
decision. The three judges scored the bout: 58-55 (x2) and 57-55, 
all in favor of Clemente.
