Later Patrick D. Donnelly, once an Inspector for the New York State Athletic Commission, appeared before the NYSAC and applied for a transfer of the license of Harlem's Olympic A. C. from Jess McMahon and his brother to himself. He was questioned about this card, when he interceded in the McVeigh bout and stopped the contest when Referee Tone failed to do so.
