Karpency, Bergman return July 26
Former WBO and IBO world title challenger Tommy Karpency (22-4) returns 
to the ring on July 26 at the Meadows Casino in Washington, Pennsylvania.  
Karpency will face Philly's Dafir Smith (27-24) over 10 rounds for the 
vacant NABA-US light heavyweight title.  Also in action, NABA-US heavyweight 
champ Jason Bergman (23-10) will defend his strap against undefeated Justin 
Jones (15-0) in the featured heavyweight main event.  Bergman has won 14 of 
his last 15 fights.
On the undercard, light heavy Cian Dalton (3-0-1) battles Lawrence Blakey 
(1-0), while junior middleweight Dan Karpency (2-0) meets debuting Chris 
Corby in another 4 rounder. In addition, heavyweight Fred Latham (4-0-1) 
tangles with Van Goodman (3-5) over 4 rounds, while Amonte Everhart and 
Derrick Hayes meet in a battle of debut welterweights.  
The six-bout card is being presented by Frank Luca's Crown Boxing.
