Reported in 1922-6-13 Journal de la Marne (Châlons-en-Champagne). The card was opened with three amateur fights and also featured a wrestling match. This was the last program held in Châlons-en-Champagne in several years. As the 1922/1923 boxing season in the city was about the commence, all boxing shows (including the showing of films of boxing matches) were banned from the city by the mayor on moral grounds. This ban, which started on September 15 1922 was lifted on July 20 1925 by the mayor's successor and boxing was resumed with an amateur show on the following August 9.
