This card was arranged to coincide with an Elks club carnival and street fair, with a scheduled 20 round main event matching Joe Choynski and Steve O'Donnell. The main event boxers were to be paid a percentage of the gate, and, when the gate receipts totaled about $300, Choynski and O'Donnell declined to box. Ultimately, O'Donnell and a sparring partner sparred for six rounds as part of the show.
