Silent Joe Gorman

"Silent" Joe Gorman managed Joe Bonds. He is not to be confused with boxer Joe Gorman.

The Feb. 26, 1916 Tacoma Times tells of him being ousted out of Tacoma "some time back."

Joe was lured into the room of a certain flashily clothed boxing promoter, and tapped gently on the bean before he had hardly gotten into the room. When he was released from the room an hour later his own mother wouldn't have recognized him. Joe had made the indiscretion of antagonizing some of the powers that be. [1]
