Armando Muniz born on 8-28-34 in Ciudad Juarez Mexico. In 1953 in came to the United States to professionally box. During his boxing in the U.S he fought Suger Ray Robinson and lasted all 10 rounds. In 1955 he married, Silvia Hernandez, from Ciudad Juarez and had a daughter, Patricia Muniz, in 1956. He retired from boxing in the late 1960's. Armando died on May 8, 2005 of colon cancer.
