Talk:Becky O'Neill

I have a little problem with this sentence of the article: "The advent of television brought upon the decline of vaudeville during the early 1950s, and O'Neill returned to Philadelphia." I thought vaudeville had declined long before, perhaps in the 1930s. Maybe vaudeville ultimately "died" in the 1950s. The sentence probably came from the Philly newspaper source. Does anyone know what the paper said exactly? --Ric 17:58, 20 Jan 2006 (CST)
Here's the source: [1]. May want to say it helped further the decline, I imagine radio probably did damage to vaudeville earlier. At the least it may have driven her to make a career/life change.--Matt Tegen 18:31, 20 Jan 2006 (CST)
