8/4/06 Philadelphia, PA- Dave Brunelli vs. Wayne Hampton

8/4/06 Philadelphia, PA- Dave (DJ) Brunelli brought the crowd to its feet in this four round bout on Friday night. Brunelli took on Wayne Hampton from Capital Heights, MD both Brunelli and Hampton came into the fight rated pretty close together in heavyweight world rankings Brunelli was rated 502, Hampton 524. The first two rounds of this fight went to Brunelli but were closely fought towards the end of the second you could see Hampton was losing steam. Brunelli came out in the 3rd round and totally dominated Hampton who by the end of the round was hanging on the ropes to stay up. When the 4th round started Hampton would not come out of the corner and Brunelli won on a TKO.

Dave Brunelli has now moved his world ranking to 444(225 in the US) Wayne Hampton has slipped to 585
