- How was the first round scored 10 - 10 if Tristan was dropped using a 10 point must system?
- How could Tristan get away with wearing 8 oz. gloves when Mustafah had on 10 oz. gloves? How could this not be considered a no contest?

- Mustafah21: I wish I knew what happened. I've seen plenty of fights in Halifax that were on the up and up, but this one had huge question marks. I still don't know how the judges all had it 39-38 when were was a clear knockdown in round 1. I'm not even sure if 10-10 rounds are even scored in Nova Scotia, this was the only fight I can recall in recent memory -- and all three judges scored a 10-10 round! It's unbelievable. I'm also unaware of any other fights with the mismatched gloves - I read it in the Halifax Herald in an article by Chris Cochrane (sorry I can't find the link anymore), so I don't know how often it has happened. It certainly should have been a no-contest. This is definitely a black mark on the commission, but other than that I've seen fair decisions in other Halifax fights. Finally, for the record I thought Mustapha won 38-37. --Tyler
