Frank Moynihan -vs- Fabian Molina

Novato: The result of Frank Moynihan winning a decision over Fabian Molina was no surprise to me. I think that Moynihan's training team worked hard to get him into shape for this fight, reportedly pushing wheelbarrows of sand up hills, and jogging endlessley. Fabian Molina has a lot of talent as a middleweight, but is usually about 10 to 12 lbs. overweight sometimes a day before he fights. You cant win fights when you are starving yourself to satisfy a scale. Moynihan needs to concentrate on taking his time more instead of stalking his opponent and trying to land that deadly left hook that is thrown with authority. Problem is that he is taking way to many punches as he is coming in, and he has tunnel vision on landing the hook, as he knows its a show stopper. Molina should consider a diet or nutritional counselor. Both guys 160 lbs. for the fight.
