James Kinchen, who is a preacher nowadays, was actually born in McKinney, Texas. He moved to San Diego in 1980 to start his boxing career. He was managed and trained by Wes Wombbo (Spelling of Wombbo is probably not correctly). Rev. "Heat" Kinchen -- now puts heat on satan to save lost souls -- ministers at Helping Hands Bapist Church, located in Encanto -- a low-income, crime-ridden, urban area of southeast San Diego, Ca.
