Talk:Lee Dorsey

I see that the bio on Lee "Kid Chocolate" Dorsey (http://boxrec.com/en/boxer/148559) incorporates the whole of the Wikipedia entry on him (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Dorsey). In so doing, an error seems to have been perpetuated: the Wikipedia page (and hence the Boxrec.com bio page). Both say that "He served in the United States Navy in World War II and then began a career in prizefighting. Boxing as a lightweight in Portland in the early 1950s, he fought under the name Kid Chocolate and was reasonably successful." But his record shows that he had one professional fight and he lost by KO in the second round. His professional boxing career looks like it was less than 6 minutes long. That's impossible to reconcile with "reasonable success" or even having a "boxing career". Furthermore, his one bout took place in 1951 so I don't understand how he could retire from boxing in 1955 - four years after his one bout.

So either his record is inaccurate or the Wikipedia bio and all that are based on it are wrong.

Which is it?
