Talk:Luis Molina vs. Joe Brown

I saw this fight live at the ball park when I was 17. Brown danced away from the hard hitting Molina and easily went the distance though I think he lost every round. What I remember most is after the fight my brother and I went down to see if we could see Brown up-close because we'd seen him fight on TV quite a few times and still admired him even though he was well past his prime. We joined a small group gathered in the corridor outside his dressing room. As soon as Brown came out this older guy in a ten gallon hat started shouting at him very loudly. I remember one part exactly: "Goddamn you, Brown! I came all the way from Houston to watch you fight and you just ran, you son-of-a-bitch!" He added other things but that's all I remember for sure. Everyone was kind of stunned and quiet while this jerk ranted. As for Joe, he didn't look the least upset, he just looked at the loudmouth, smiled, and shrugged his shoulders.
