• This page was deleted because Bergman was not a pro boxer. In that case you have to delete Tom Neal, Robert Ryan, Ryan O'Neal, Kris Krisofferson, Bob Hope, etc. This makes no sense. This is an interesting sidebar that so many actors were boxers either pro or amateur. When I started this category, I was the one who posted many of the biographies & worked hard on the references to confirm everything was legit. I don't think there is anything wrong with posting actors who were only amateurs. This is still a positive light on boxing.````Acunaboy

Deleting Tom Neal, Robert Ryan, Ryan O'Neal, Kris Krisofferson, Bob Hope, etc. is an excellent suggestion.--Wouter 19:57, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
