Should he not get a Manager Category, too? I see he managed Ortega.

Per the Tacoma News Tribune upon his death, at age 61 (he would have been 62 on Feb. 11, 1946, per the TNT--so perhaps his DOB can be put in this piece, as well), Simpson started with his older brother George in 1905. The TNT reported that Simpson also started Willie Ritchie and Gunboat Smith, in addition to McLarnin.
