Ted Krache drew with Young Carmen by PTS in round 6 of 6
- Date: 1923-09-03
- Location: Grand Theater, Aberdeen, Washington, USA
- Referee: Arthur Schock
"Krache should have won this fight but he started his blows when he was too far from his opponent. He's a lightning hitter and should step closer to his man before he starts his blow. A number of blows which landed lightly on Carmen's jaw and neck, had Ted been six inches closer when the blow started, would have finished the young Californian; but he didn't, though it was a pretty fight, and that's that." Sept. x, 1923 Grays Harbor Post (See also, Ellensburg Daily Record account: [1].)
This was Krache's first bout since having his breathing improved by a nose operation.
