Baby faced Terry Spinks of Britain KO'd the Dutch bantam champion Sugar Ray in the 7th round. Spinks, winner of the Olympic Flyweight gold medal in Melbourne 1956, hit the coloured Surinam- born Sugar Ray with a short right to the chin. The fight had been a fast one with Spinks having some trouble with the often wild swinging Dutchman.
