Amos Lincoln 199 lbs beat Thad Spencer 197 lbs by MD in round 10 of 10

"Amos (Big Train) Lincoln scored a narrow, hard-fought majority decision over Thad Spencer last night in the semi-windup bout. Lincoln, 199, of Los Angeles, who had knocked out Spencer, 197, San Francisco, the last time they met a year ago, came from behind in the last four rounds to earn a one-point margin from each of the judges while referee Nate Morgan called the fight even. The decision was greeted by scattered boos. Spencer used his superior boxing ability to pile up a margin in the early rounds and in the 1st round opened a cut over Lincoln's left eye that oozed blood for most of the fight. Lincoln gave a sample of his punching ability in the 3rd round when he sent Spencer down with a left hook, although the referee ruled it no-knockdown. Spencer rallied in the middle rounds but then Lincoln came on strong in the late rounds to gain the narrow decision and major consideration as a possible heavyweight title contender." -Las Vegas SUN
