The Girl from Monterrey

• The Girl from Monterrey is a 1943 romantic-comedy film about a Mexican club singer who finds that her younger brother is a talented boxer and becomes his manager. He slugs his way to the top, but when he is forced to take a fall in fixed bout, the fiery Latina shows her own fighting prowess and goes to the mat for her brother.
