    • Thor Erik Hognrö of Norway had a fine 1st round with tight guard and long, straight lefts and rights which hit the German Gunter Valtinke. In the next rounds Hognrö forgot all about this and slugged it out toe to toe with Valtinke. Both men concentrated on the body and many punches were low.
