Tiger Johnny Cline drew with Tod Adams by PTS in round 10 of 10

The Fresno Bee reported that Cline won all but two of the rounds against Adams, and that one "has to be charitable" to call the other two even. Adams was sent staggering in five of the ten rounds. Adams landed some nice bodyshots, but mostly absorbed punishment from Cline, who appeared to be holding back against his much less experienced foe.
The crowd could be heard saying "too bad" to popular local referee Gene Jewett in regards to his decision.
