Tod Morgan beat Joe Gorman by PTS in round 10 of 10

  • Location: Auditorium, Oakland, California, USA

    • Morgan knocked Gorman down for a three-count with a right hand in the opening round. Morgan was content to box for the remainder of the bout, after proving that he could hurt Gorman. Gorman did manage to bloody Morgan's nose, but was otherwise thoroughly dominated, as it was felt that Morgan was carrying him the ten-round distance. The Oakland Tribune stated "Gorman has slowed up to a whisper and had no right in the same ring with Morgan."
