Danish middleweight prospect Tom Jensen knocked out the French veteran Jackie Cailleau in the 2nd round of a 6 rounder.
22 year old Jensen, with a 12-1-1 record had since his debut in 1967 gradually switched from an upright amateur style to rougher pro tactics with hard swings to the head and body. He was hardly recognizable from his amateur days, Danish reporters noticed.
A hook to the body floored the Frenchman for an 8 count in the 1st. In the 2nd the same punch knocked him out.
Jackie Cailleau retired with a 11-23-2 record. He fought practically everyone in the European middleweight division in the 1960's.
