    • The Copenhagen paper Politiken wrote acidly about the bout between Danish middleweight prospect Tom Jensen (6-1-1 ) and German Peter Michalski (22-5-2 ):

    " The preliminary bout between Tom Jensen and German Peter Michalski, gave us more reasons to leave than to stay. It was a sad sight. Tom Jensen probably won on points, but that fact is of no interest to others than Jensen himself. He should easily have knocked out the immobile German, whose repertoire wasn't worth a single D- Mark. He was shooked towards the end, but Tom Jensen missed most of his blows.

    It should be said, though, that the German was unstoppable in holding and locking the Dane's arms. Just the same, it was a too bad performance from Tom Jensen. "
