Tomlinson Hall was a multi-purpose building in Indianapolis, Indiana. The building was located at the northeast corner of Delaware & Market Streets.

Origins

The origins of Tomlinson Hall, began with the death of Stephen D. Tomlinson in 1870, who bequeathed to the city of Indianapolis the funds for a public building. Construction began in 1885, and was completed in 1886. The building was completed at an estimated cost of $137,500, and had a seating capacity of 3,500. The venue would go on to stage many musical performances, political events, and sporting events.

Tomlinson Hall would be destroyed by a fire on January 30, 1958. After public outcry to restore the building was resisted, the building was razed on July 8, 1958.
