This fight sometimes credited to HOF fighter George Dixon, but was Tommy Dixon. Zimpher was dropped for a count of 8 by an uppercut late in the 12th. He was down again when the bell rang to end the round and had to be carried to his corner. Sullivan stopped the fight at this point.
