Pro Boxer: Record
Tommy Jones began boxing as a lightweight and worked his way up through the weights. Early in his career, he fought in the New York armories, then in New England. From there he went to Australia, then to the west coast of the United States, back to Australia, to Hawaii, and finally back home in New England.
The only published records for Jones were partial--appearing in the 1937 and 1938 editions of Boxing News Record.
Most of the linked career record was traced by Luckett Davis. John M. Hogg of Brisbane supplied the Australian record. The Boston Globe, New York Times and various west coast newspapers helped.
