Frankie Ippolito 138 lbs lost to Tommy Tibbs 133 lbs by UD in round 10 of 10

Ippolito was knocked down twice in the 2nd round. The first knockdown was ruled a slip by the referee. Later a left hook dropped Ippolito for a two-count. Following the knockdown, Tibbs pounded Ippolito to the body. In the 4th round, a bad cut over Ippolito's right eye opened up, prompting ring doctor Samuel Swetnick to examine Ippolito's eye at the conlcusion of the round. Ippolito would be cut on the right cheek in the 9th round.
