Tony Chiaverini beat Elisha Obed by UD in round 10 of 10
"Tony Chiaverini scored a unanimous 10 round decision Saturday night over former world junior middleweight champion Elisha Obed. Neither fighter was marked except for numerous scratches and welts on the back of Chiaverini from countless clinches by Obed. It was the Shawnee, Kan., middleweight's 5th straight win and it upped his record to 26-3-1. It was only the 7th time in 88 career fights that Obed had lost, dropping his record to 76-7-5." -United Press International
