  • Norwegian light welterweight- hope Tore Magnussen (63,5 kg) won his fourth fight by outpointing the Frenchman Daniel Vasseur (63, 5 kg, record: 5-3-2 )in a 6 rounder. Magnussen, with 8 National titles and 1 Scandinavian as an amateur, made his debut in november 1965 and remained undefeated after hitting the stocky and largely passive Vasseur with every punch in the book. There was little resistance from the Frenchman, Magnussen could freely chose when and where to hit. Body punches made Vasseur grimace in the last round.
